The following is a list of events taking place throughout San Diego County during the month of November 2023. Whether you are looking for food, drinks, educational, or family-friendly events, there’s something for everyone in San Diego!

La Mesa Military Families Toy Drive Through Dec. 4
The La Mesa Chamber of Commerce is collecting toys for La Mesa military children ages 2-13 years old. Join us and celebrate the strength of our community as we collect toys for our La Mesa military families.

Fleet Week San Diego Nov. 3-12
Featuring Military Displays, High Tech equipment in the Innovation Zone, Active Navy & Coast Guard Ship Tours, Live Music, Food, and Fun!

Taste of Julian Nov. 4
We have more than apples to celebrate and Taste of Julian is designed to do just that…celebrate the deliciously diverse culinary delights Julian has to offer. The event is a self-guided tour of the participating restaurants and tasting rooms.

Bike the Coast Nov. 4
Join riders of all levels and ages while experiencing the best of Southern California beaches and surf towns as you ride routes of 100, 50, 25 on historic Highway 101, or enjoy our family ride on the San Luis Rey River Trail (15 or 7 miles). Enjoy San Diego’s beautiful coastline and celebrate right on the water in Oceanside at the Finish Festival.

Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon, 5K & Wish Walk Event Nov. 4
The Kaiser Permanente Thrive Half Marathon & 5K benefiting Make-A-Wish San Diego encourages the community to “Thrive” by staying active, eating healthy, living well and giving back.

City Hike Nov. 4
Experience the wonder and beauty of this historic region of San Marcos as we hike 6.5 miles of trails around Walnut Grove Park and The Purple Heart Memorial. We will also take in views along Twin Oaks Valley, La Cienega, Mulberry, and Cox Roads.

Fall Back Festival Nov. 5
FREE children’s historical street faire. Rally the gang and combine a day of play and educational fun, as history comes alive, while children can learn about San Diego’s rich cultural history by participating in an assortment of activities and demonstrations.

More Than Pink Walk Nov. 5

Carlsbad Fall Village Faire Nov. 5
The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce organizes the event, which features 900 arts and crafts booths, antiques, Kiwanis Club pancake breakfast, international food center, a huge section with children’s rides, and a certified Farmer’s Market.

Fall Concert – Kearny Mesa Concert Band Nov. 5
The Kearny Mesa Concert Band will be performing a series of symphonic dances at their matinee Fall Concert.

San Diego Bay Wine & Food Festival Nov. 8-12
Featuring dozens of events, hundreds of domestic and international wineries, the celebration of craft beer and spirits, local culinary legends and nationally acclaimed chefs.

Coronado Island Film Festival Nov. 8-12
We showcase films of every genre selected by an esteemed jury of industry pros, made with passion and persistence by filmmakers at every level of the craft, from gifted students to talented newcomers to Oscar winners, who take part in panels, workshops, special presentations and more; and we roll out the red carpet for the grand Leonard Maltin Industry Tribute Gala, where the stars indeed do shine on Saturday night.

Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas! Nov. 8-Dec. 31
A wonderful, whimsical musical based upon the Dr. Seuss book.

Sails and Ales Beer Fest Nov. 10
We are bringing in over 35 different breweries and alternative spirits and wines for you to taste. A special menu has been handcrafted by our expert culinary team. Proceeds will benefit the Seal Family Foundation.

SeaWorld Red, White & Blue Salute Nov. 10-12
SeaWorld San Diego is honoring those who serve or have served in the U.S. Armed Forces. The theme park will open each day with a flag ceremony and the national anthem, paying tribute to the service and sacrifice of all the brave men and women who have protected the freedoms we enjoy.

Escondido VetFest Parade and Festival Nov. 11
Celebrate those who have served with a Veterans Day Parade on Grand, Grand Avenue Patriotic Storefront Display Contest, Military and VetFest Sponsor Displays on Maple Street Plaza, and VetFest at American Legion Post 149.

Train Song Festival Nov. 11
In addition to a main stage in the gazebo filled with musical entertainment from San Diego Folk Heritage, there will be model railroad layouts in the Great Room, the Nelson House and Museum will be open for tours, ride aboard the 1907 Steam Engine for a nominal fee or browse hand-crafted items at the Boardwalk Craft Market.

Ride the Point Memorial Charity Bicycle Ride Nov. 11
Ride the Hidden, Unridden, and Forbidden Point Loma on EXCLUSIVE routes open once a year! Ride the Point was inspired by the late Jim Krause an avid bicyclist, Rotarian, and family man.

Thousands of residents, community leaders, will line the parade route to pay tribute to America’s heroes – the Veterans of our Armed Forces.

Dream of Niwa JFGM Wedding Expo Nov. 12
Tour the 12-acre garden and gather inspiration for your dream event. Both sides of the Inamori Pavilion will be fully set up as mock reception spaces. Each ticket includes sampling from 10 caterers, dancing and music with a live DJ, access to meet bridal industry experts and more.

Susan G. Komen 3-Day Del Mar Cheering Station Nov. 17
Join DMVA in painting the town pink and cheering on more than 2,000 walkers. This cheering station is an annual outpouring of support from the community that welcomes the walkers with pink balloons and ribbons.

Encinitas Holiday Street Fair Nov. 19
Enjoy the music of popular local bands in The Lumberyard Courtyard, dance, music, and other entertainment on the Community Stage. O’side Turkey Trot Nov. 23

Father Joe’s Villages Thanksgiving Day 5K Run & Walk Nov. 23
San Diego’s original and longest-standing Thanksgiving Day “turkey trot” is back, and its critical mission remains the same: To provide crucial funds to feed the homeless through Father Joe’s Villages’ meal program.

Rady Children’s Invitational Nov. 23-24

Black Mountain Turkey Burner Nov. 25
Both the Half & 10K will experience some major “hill” climbing on some very technical trails, while the 5K will feature some less technical and a little more groomed dirt trail.
