San Diego County Fair May 31-July 4
Skip down the yellow brick road and enter into an Oz-some world inspired by L. Frank Baums classic tale, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Deep fried-food-on-a-stick, rides, animals, and games. World-class exhibits in fine art, photography, woodworking, jewelry/gems & minerals, and home & hobby, and the Paul Ecke Jr. Flower & Garden Show. The Toyota Summer Concert Series features nationally recognized entertainment.

Art Around Adams June 1

San Diego Bay Festival June 1

RB Alive! Street Fair June 2

Colors on Canvas Banner Art Contest Awards Reception June 5
The Mission Hills Business Improvement District’s community-wide banner art contest Colors on Canvas Awards Reception. Winning banners of nearly seventy entries will be on display. Prizes will be awarded and the $500.00 Marianne Kalem Legacy Award Grand Prize from Patterson Engineering, Inc. will be announced.

The Toast of the Coast Wine Competition & Festival June 8

National City Gets Active June 8
Once completing the scavenger hunt you are welcomed to a FREE community breakfast in the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center which will include community presentations and kid zone.

Marine Corps Mud Run June 8-9
10K, 5K and 1K. There will be over 300 Marines motivating participants along the course, as well as Military vehicle displays. T-shirt, finisher medal, free parking and parking shuttle, post-race refreshments and course-aid/hydration stations.

Inter-Tribal Powwow June 8-9

San Diego Festival of the Arts June 8-9
Showcasing stunning works of painting, sculpture, photography, glass, jewelry, ceramics, wood, fiber and mixed media from nearly 200 world renowned artists. A silent auction and wine and beer garden all contribute towards this philanthropic effort spearheaded by the Torrey Pines Kiwanis Foundation.

Oceanside Independence Day Parade June 30
Join us as it marches up Coast Highway from Wisconsin Street to Civic Center Drive. Viewing of the parade is available from the sidewalks along the entire route. Spectators are encouraged to bring folding chairs.
